Angel-demons from another dimension are oddly not the most haunting thing. Rather it's the sadist who lives totally for himself, always seeking the next pleasure, the next sexual conquest, until it finally leads him too far. This is a tale of two brothers pulled in different directions, how the drive for shallow self-fulfillment ultimately corrupts someone beyond recognition.I've seen the movie adaptation many times, but now see why Clive Barker's eerie sensuality adds so much to what this story is all about.
