Marjane Satrapi talks about how in Iran in the 80s, the small instances of rebellion in women's fashion were often crucial to identifying allies, but it also caused a sort of identity crisis. >"Our behavior in private and our behavior in public were polar opposites. This disparity made us schizophrenic."
